This was the 1st time for us to have a special and unique task in RUS101. The task which we need to do was to walk around the George Town area and looking for 3 heritage buildings and survey those buildings and took some photographs. Well, it was a really good chance for us to walking around George Town with friends and it was a greate experience for us. Hence, in the early morning, Min had driven 5 of us were going to George Town. Our theme for this assignment is museum. Thus, Khoo Kongsi, Penang State Museum and Museum of Baba and Nyonya is our specific site.

Before starting to do our task, we have our breakfast, Har Mee in George Town which is located near to the Yap Kongsi.
Our 1st destination - Khoo Kongsi. This is the front side of Khoo Kongsi.
Well, the architect who designed the Khoo Kongsi had won the Excellence Awards in Architecture in 2000.
Here we were, in front of Khoo Kongsi.
After giving rm1 for the entry, we stepped into the Khoo Kongsi. Here we were again, inside the Khoo Kongsi.
Don't just think we were playing around, we did our job with 100% opportunity. We were asking the people in charge about the size of Khoo Kongsi and Khai Lim was writing down.
These are the photos which show out the unique of the building. The beam, the frame and the roof are very pretty and unique. That's why Khoo Kongsi has rewarded as the Excellent Architecture in 2000.

Besides doing our task, we enjoy very much by taking photographs around. Here we were, inside the train in the Penang State Museum.
Finally, we reached our last destination -- Museum of Baba and Nyonya.
When we stepped into the place, we saw a hero scrupture beside the front gate.

We played around inside the museum. Zhi Ling and I were actually acted cooking inside the kitchen.
Due to this assignment, I've learned a lot of things especially in the design of the building structure. I hope that, this will encourage me to think something special about the structure design so my design can become one of the heritage building in the future.
